At Alliance for Recruitment, we see it every week — the question is no longer “does this candidate know AI?”. It’s “how well do they use it?”
Head of Business Unit Deimantė Astrauskė 🖐 has been tracking this shift closely: “A clear direction has been visible for some time — AI skills are moving from ‘nice to have’ to a critical working tool.”

The ones who walk into the interview with real examples – time saved, processes automated or decisions improved.
“Practical, real-life experience sets a candidate apart — they come across as more adaptable, more willing to experiment. Sometimes companies will choose someone with less experience but a stronger appetite to learn.”
